Cross-country skiing in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is an absolute pleasure. The view into the beautiful mountain panorama - especially to the Zugspitze - makes cross-country skiing a special experience.

Overall, the trail network over 110 km, each Classic and skating. The individual routes are varied and offer something suitable for ambitious and calmer athletes.
Nice highlight : on the Heiterwanger night trail you can make your rounds under the stars.

Austrian Cross Country Championships
Our ski club is a very dedicated club that invests very much in our village youth. But also major sporting events are brought here in Heiterwang successfully on the stage. As a fixed organizer of the Tyrolean Föger Cup, the Reuttener Ehrenberg Cup and other home races, our village is one of the most popular destinations for cross-country skiing. But the biggest highlight in 2006 was the Austrian championship as well as a FIS race right on our doorstep!
